Apparently if you ignore lightening, that won't keep it from raining on you! I got 6 miles knocked out early this morning with the kids, and attempted to do 6 more tonight after everyone was in bed and Dan was home. The lightening started about 20 minutes after I left, and I thought - I actually thought - "If I just ignore the lightening, maybe it won't rain on me!"
Well, the power of my mind was not enough because about 15 minutes after that it opened up on me and I got soaked. Oops! I cut short the walk and finished 3 miles total. It was a nice cool break from the 110+ temperatures we've had lately but not ideal for training. :O)
