Getting Back On Schedule

So this week I'm getting back to the training basics ~ 6 mile walks on the weekdays and longer weekend walks. I'm still a little freaked out about the whole heat illness thing, but after several walks over the past two weeks without anything going wrong, I think I'm exercising and fueling smartly now and everything will be OK.

Went on a 6 miler with the kids this morning, and at the end of it my feet felt like they could go for 6 more - good sign! The weather is starting to cool off a little at night so this morning was nice, all below 85 while I walked.

Cassie and I did a 10 miler a couple weeks ago and we met a new desert friend. What a treat!


I used to hate to be able to say this, but the morning sunrise has been lovely lately also...
